Hiho, neighbourinos.

Well, I’ve done a little bit of travelling lately. I was in Saskatoon last Wednesday for a daylong session by Bishop Wiesner of Prince George (originally from Denzil). He spoke about the restoration of the order of the sacraments of initiation. The Saskatoon diocese (among others) is moving to restore the proper order: Baptism, Confirmation, and then Eucharist, as it was about 100 years ago.

Then, on Thursday I went to Edmonton for the year-end seminary banquet. I’ll try to have some photos up soon. I came back here on Saturday and preached at the weekend Masses, and then slept and did some StarCr^H^H^H^H^H^Hwork and stuff on Monday.

I’m back in Saskatoon this Friday (April 29) and will be there for about a week. First, it’s the lay formation weekend, and then I’ll be there for the priests’ retreat. I will be free Sunday night and most of Monday – anyone up to doing anything? Maybe it’ll be nice enough for a round of golf?

Until next time, keep your stick on the ice!

Update: I forgot to mention that while I’m in Saskatoon, I will be without internet access. AGHHHHH! I wonder if Queen’s House would object to me connecting my wifi router to their system…….

  1. Yeah, that was a good, um, “work” on Monday. :-)

I still don’t believe it’s possible to go a week without internet access. I bet you end up like Homer. “No internet and no slashdot make Darryl something something.”
