New site: SaskaPriest.com

“You’re like a priest from Saskatchewan… like a Saskatchewan priest… You’re like, “SaskaPriest.”

(I think the quote kinda goes like that.)

And so I present: saskapriest.com!

This will be a site where I will be placing items that are more specifically related to my ministry as a priest. This will include things like homilies, news, and commentary on different issues. Darryldot.org will still be my home for my personal musings (as infrequent as those can get) and my recordings.

I’ve also launched a podcast along with the new site, and you can find out more information over there. So far, the podcast includes some of my homilies. An iTunes feed to the SaskaPriest Podcast will come shortly.

Enjoy!

Here is my homily from February 13, 2011, the 6th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A.

Podcast launch! (Hopefully?)

I’m trying out a WordPress plugin called podPress that theoretically allows me to easily share recorded audio with you through this website and via podcast. Hopefully it works! I’ve dubbed my personal homily and Q&A podcast “SaskaPriest: A Catholic Podcast with Fr. Darryl Millette.”

Here is my first episode. It’s my homily given for the 4th Sunday in Ordinary Time, Year A on January 30, 2011. The readings of the day were Zephaniah 2.3,3.12-13; Psalm 146; 1 Corinthians 1.26-31; and Matthew 5.1-12 (Beatitudes).

Enjoy! (Assuming this works. Here’s hoping!)
