Yup, I’ll be away until Sunday (once again). Two of my classmates are being ordained. TTFN!
I’ll be away until Sunday evening, attending the ordination and first Masses of Rev. Mr. Greg Elder, a former classmate of mine.
It’s been too long (once again). April was a craaazy month. Besides writing dozens and dozens of pages for papers and final exams, we celebrated the Triduum in the seminary. That was a very good – fun – and busy time. I was also called upon to sing that short little piece known as the Easter Proclamation (Exsultet) at the Easter Vigil.
Then I was headlong into finals, all the while playing some hockey. We actually won our first playoff game (against the top team in the division) but now we trail in the best-of-five series 2 games to 1.
Most recently, I was in Saskatoon to attend the first annual Bishop’s Banquet and to help out in a couple of parishes. Unfortunately, I ended up catching a cold at some point and was forced to miss the installation of the Most Rev. Richard Smith as Archbishop of Edmonton last night. :-(
I just updated WordPress to the latest version – if you notice any problems, please let me know!
