The Flames in the finals – whodathunkit? Sounds great to me, though! The 90’s were not the greatest years to be a Flames fan, but it’s all paying off now. Woo hoo!
Well, I’ve been in my Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) unit at Alberta Hospital Edmonton for 2 weeks now. It’s easily one of the more difficult things I’ve ever done, but I also see that there is tremendous value in doing it.
And… last, but not least, I have a new OS on my computer now. I installed Knoppix 3.4, replacing my old SuSE 8.2 installation. The main drawing points to Knoppix were that it is free for a CD copy (SuSE is free but you can’t have it on CD unless you buy it), and the use of the Debian APT system. It works good now, though the installer has some bugs and I needed to do some tweaking first. In that regard, SuSE’s YaST2 installer is waaaaay better. So, I guess you get what you pay for.
