Oh the humanity!

It’s been a little while since I’ve added anything to this page. In that time (among other things), I’ve been working on web pages for the Diocese of Saskatoon and for Life Teen at Holy Family Parish in St. Albert, Alberta. Check out the work-in-progress pages here and here.

Silly Internet Explorer from Microsoft doesn’t seem to understand how to render tables or CSS properly and so I’ve had to do some fudging with code to get things to work (thanks, Andy!). As part of the development process, I thought it would be great to have Internet Explorer readily accessible for testing. Since I use SuSE Linux instead of Microsoft Windows, I needed to install it using something called CrossOver WINE, which allows many Windows products to run in Linux. I am currently using their 30 day evaluation version; once it is finished, I might try to get Internet Explorer working in the free WINE project. It’s pretty handy, anyway.
